Who will be caring for my pet and home?
Linda Symons, founder/owner of Niles & Friends LLC will be the only person in your home.  I do have a bonded, insured, Pet CPR/First Aid Sitter available in case of emergencies.

How do I get started with Niles & Friends?
I meet with you and your pet(s) for a complimentary Meet & Greet to discuss your needs.  If you decide to retain our services, you will fill out paperwork and give me two (2) keys.  Please have up to date proof of vaccinations for your pet(s) and other contact info.  Please allow approx. 30-40 min. for this meeting; I’m usually flexible as to when these are scheduled.
* If you have only one key available, I would be happy to make an additional copy free of charge.

How do you handle payments?
Payment is due at time of service by cash or check.  For clients who use my service 3X per week or more, I will provide an invoice the last service of the month and pick up payment on my next visit.  If you would like to use a credit card, I will need to stop by to process your card on the last day of the month.  For overnight/vacation care services, I am able to accept credit cards for five or more days of days of service.  This payment would be collected the day before the start of service.

Do you board pets in your home?
No, but I offer overnight pet sitting in your home which I love to do!

How do you handle keys?
Two (2) keys are picked up during our meet and greet for those clients that desire regular service.  They are coded and kept in a secure box.  I can also retain your keys for occasional visits.  For those  clients that will be using our service only a few times a year, I would be glad to pick up and drop off your keys free of charge (if you are located ten or more miles from my home, a $5.00 round trip fee will apply).

What are your cancellation policies?
You may cancel drop in visits/walks the A.M. of service at no charge.  Please call or text by 7:00 A.M.
For vacation care or overnight services please give at least 48 hours notice, if possible.  No charge will apply.
For clients on business trips or vacation who arrive home early, no refund will apply since this time has been reserved for you and your pet (unless family emergency occurs).
